Foil / Mylar Balloons

Q. How long it last? 

A. 2-5 days or weeks in a best case situation.  

Q. Can it be refilled?

A. Yes but 50% chances. Depends the condition of the balloons. 

Q. What to avoid?

A. Avoid placing it near a heat source, direct sunlight (it may burst), or very cold area (it will deflate). 

Q. Will you inflate the balloons 100% filled?

A. We only inflate the foil balloon 95%, to allow space for balloon to expand if it is under warm area.

Q. Will the balloons deflate if I'm from warm to cold area?

A. Yes, will deflate a little.

Q. What can I do if it deflates?

A. You can use a straw to blow in air at the balloon opening.

Q. How to seal the balloons?

A. Foil balloon is self-sealing.

 

Latex Balloons 

Q. How long can it last?

A. Between 7-14 hours.

Q. What to avoid?

A. Under direct sunlight or keep in the car booth for long, it will burst.

Q. Can it be refilled/reuse?

A. Cannot.

 

Placing an order on our website

Q. Do I have to register an account before I place an order?

A. Not necessary.  You can proceed your order and checkout as a guest.

* Please note the system will not let you pass if the billing and shipping address sessions are empty.  Therefore don’t leave them blank and simply fill in anything if you just come to pick up the balloons.

Q. Do I need to give out my credit card information on your website?

A. Never.  We do not accept credit card payment.

Q. How does the payment be made?

A. Local customers can pay us upon delivery or pay to the shop upon self collection.  

HK / overseas customers are required to transfer the payment to our HK Hang Seng Bank or by PayPal in advance.

Q. What should I do after I place an order on the website?

A. If your order is placed successfully,  you will see the message “Thanks for Your Order!” on our page.   You will be contacted by our staff within 48 hours to confirm the delivery / pick up time.  No order is confirmed until you receive our confirmation calls (1st call within 48 hours after you placed an order & possibly 2nd call on the day of event to reassure everything is in good process).    If you don’t receive our call, please call us to check if your order is placed successfully. 

Q. When should I place my order?

A. First, check the closed dates of Balloon Express on another page of our website.  Second, call us to confirm the dates and time available for your delivery / collection.  Third, place your order at least 2 days beforehand. No guaranteed for delivery services.  First come first serve.    

 

Our Delivery Service 

Q. Do you inflation of helium balloon on site?

A. No.

Q. Do you do deco set up?

A. No,  except for the balloon arch / columns.  Decoration set up is chargeable, 30-50% extra depends on the job.

Please note, all balloons sent are inflated and arranged.   

You just need to place the bouquets to your designated area and this takes only 5-20 minutes of your time.   

You may also want to untie the knot of the floating balloons and leave them to the ceiling, if so please tell us in advance so we can tie a quick release knot for you.

Q. Any minimum amount to waive delivery charges?

A. No.

Q. How much is the delivery charges?

A.  For order that can fit inside our company car, $65 delivery charge to Macau & Taipa, $110 to Coloane.  For order that requires the delivery of a big van or two cars, $200 to Macau & Taipa, $260 to Coloane.

Q. How many pieces of balloons can fit our company car?

A. 11” latex balloons 40-50 pieces or 18” foil balloons 50-60 pieces (jumbo or bouquet balloons will be advised). 

Q. Any refund/exchange if balloons sent found deflated, leak or burst?

A. Depends on the condition of the balloons.  We are not responsible of deflation, leak/burst due to weather/temperature changes. Some function room/restaurants are very cold (air con) and it may cause the foil balloon to deflate faster.  Or outdoor event which is warm, balloons may burst or leak. 

Q. Mode of payment upon delivery?

A. Exact cash only. Payment by bank transfer is most preferred before the event.

                                                 

Self Collection

Q. Where is the collection place?

A. Kids Garden Boutique at Rua Dos Cules, Macau. Opening hours: Mon to Sun 11am to 8pm.

Q. Can we see any real balloon products at Kids Garden the collection place?

A.  No.  Balloon Express is an online store.  There is no real balloon in Kids Garden and customers are advised to choose the balloons from the pictures on our website.  We only inflate balloons once customer has placed the order and confirmed the collection time with our staff.

Q. What are your other advices?

A.  Hot weather outside the shop is not within our control and no exchange/refund for that.

Turn on the car engine before loading the balloons in the car to avoid burst due to warm air in the car.  Do not leave balloons for a long time in the car boot. 

Wind down the window a little to avoid deflation due to cold air con in the car.
